We went to Nasa recently and joined a friend there. For some reason I have looked back at all my pictures and I don't have very many pictures of Soren. Everywhere we go, because he is older, he just goes off with his friends and we don't see them until they are ready to leave. The last picture is of Lily. She went to doggy spa today. Doesn't she look like a prettied up rat. haha.

This year for Soren and Emily's birthday, we took them to a place called Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Tx (near Dallas). They each got to bring one friend and Craig and Janalyns family came also. I didn't get any pictures of them in the waterpark because I didn't trust me, camera, and water in the same place. I wish I had. At the resort, they have a treasure quest that goes from the 1st floor to the 8th floor using the hidden staircase to get to all the levels. In the quest, you get a wand that opens up treasure chests and makes pictures and statues come alive to reveal new clues. It was very tiring for the adults, but exciting for the kids. Some of them finished the quest in 2 days, others on their 3rd day and we have a couple who still need to finish.

 
 
 
 
Emily had a bug program right before school ended and dressed up as a butterfly. Greyson wanted a turn with it too. Greyson is checking out our cooler filled with grasshoppers that Emily was collecting. There were about 9 I think in there before they all died. I think it got a little too hot for them in there. She just started on a new collection of them yesterday. At the moment we have 2 huge ones.

This last weekend we went to our annual Renaissance Festival. We didn't get as many pictures this time, but we plan to go 1 or 2 times more this year. This time we took the kids and they got to choose what we did. We got some pictures of the kids playing music and of them waiting for the jousting to begin. w.e had a lot of fun

Our little man has now turned the big 2 (well, almost a month ago). He is growing up so fast. He is such a joy to have in our family. He loves cars so for his birthday he got a race track for a cake.
